Hi Raja,

CATT is a testing tool, using that we can

test transactions and alos do integration testing.

1) For testing transactions

2) Checking messages, as catt will provide

the log where we can check the messages.

3) You can check the results in the log how the

test case executed.

5) You can do integration testing by linking

transactions.

6) You can also do mass upload the data.

Hopw this info is helpful. I feel this is a good tool provoded by SAP to test our scenarios.

Mass uploading data means is it alternative for BDC,LSMW?

Hi Raja,

Genrally this is useful in testing pahse at onsite.

For Functional consulatants it is very useful.

And also developers can do this.

For example you want to check sales scenario,

you can integrate all the transactions which involved

in that , and also you can import and export values

from the transactions. Like sales document no can be

imported to when you are creating invoice like that

total scenario you can check.

And some time you want to create some test data in the

testing system. Then you can use this for mass upload

of data. For example if you want to create customers

you can upload excel file and do it like we do for BDC

or LSMW.
