Cryptographic library for AIX

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to get the Cryptograhic Library for AIX ?

The service market place only have 1 for AIX but it is for RS6000/power.

Which platform (uname -a) do you have ....?

Notice: more important than the OS version is the question: which executable is supposed to load the library and which platform is that executable compiled on. In addition you need to clarify whether you need a thread-safe library (for use with multi-threaded executables). All that is explained in the file WHICH.TXT contained in the SAPCRYPTOLIB archive file available on the SAP Service Marketplace:

SAPCRYPTOLIB is a shared library which is dynamically loaded at runtime

into the process space of other SAP software:

- disp+work SAP kernel for SNC/SSF and SAPSECU usage (single-threaded)

- icman/sapwebdisp for SSL usage (multi-threaded)

- saprouter for SNC usage

- SAP ITS 6.20 for SNC usage (multi-threaded)

- saphttp for SSL usage (single-threaded)

- IISPROXY.DLL (multi-threaded)

and probably a few others that I'm not aware of.

Hi Lauran,

there is no difference between the different CPU architectures. The cryptolib requried is only related to the SAP NetWeaver system used. Here is the mapping from aix.txt which comes as part of the libraries:
