Creating Standard Database Table

Dear All,,

I was doing Client Copy from Prd. to Dev. server.

Some database tables doesnot exist in Dev. so i am creating those tables.

In that,i am creating some tables starting from /ASU/.. but it is giving an error "Namespace /ASU/ does not exist".

Also I have an access key for that.

Now the Package in which that table is stored in Prd. server, i was trying to create that package also even it was not creating.

kindly help me..how to proceed..

Is their anything related to userexits or pactches..

Ankur,

You cannot create tables with name except starting with Z or Y.

Use transaction SE03 option Display/Change Namespaces to create the /ASU/ namespace on your Dev server.

But se03 requires the authorisation

hi..

I have created Namespaces from SE03 tcode.

Now i have to create SOFTWARE COMPONENT "ST-A/PI" which is to be asked while creating PACKAGE.

Could you plz help me out.

hi ankur,

SAP allows to create database tables only with Z or Y.and no others are entertained.
