Creating an attachment

Hi frnds,

How to create an attachment button in modulepool for a text field and store that data in application server.

in my requirement i have a text field with more than 1000 characters,for this i have to create a texteditor and store that somewhere.Can u tell all possble ways how i can sole this problem.

my idea is to create a word attachment and store that in the application server.if it is possible, what is the procedure for creating an attachment and storing it?
