Create User Exits and Custmised Include In Z-Systems?

We often Create Zsystem for some business process. After some time some modification is also seen and also at data base level (Change in structure of tables) . Can we create some Customized Includes in our own Ztables and Some exits so that enhancement at a later stage to those system is easier.

Please guide to handle such scenario .

hai sujith u can add BADI's and enhancement spots for ur code , so that u can make modifications

if ur using ECC 6.0 u can use enhancement points so that u can use it, if 4.7 sap u add badis

create badi definitions and u can implement it for code changes
