hi all,

when i try to create a sales order using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1, the return message shows that 'EV1 320No item category available (table T184 ZMSI TEXT)'.

i wonder where the problem lies and how could i solve this problem..

Hi ,

Check the SPRO customization for Item category Determination, " Define Item Category Determination in Deliveries" The Transaction Code is 0184.

I think the item category you are passing is not matching with the entry availbale.

Check the item category field (ITEM_CATEG) that you pass in the item level to the BAPI. That item category that you pass should exists in T184 table.

You can discuss more details with your SD functional to know what item category you should use.
