Create Roles

HI : I need to create some roles. Are there any BAPI , LSMW , direct input, etc to create these ??

You use PFCG to create roles.

It sounds like you want to automate the creation, what is the background to this? there are a few different techniques depending on your requirements.

You are rigth. I need make a initial input. The data is in excel document. So I need make a program to load it.

Now you've got me curiuos. Which data exactly?

I have ce=reated role in excel and converted them in SQP format and uploaded them using PFCG , no idea about other tool.

Hi:

If you have a large number of roles to create, you could try creating a eCATT for initial creation of these roles.

[Former Member]

eCATT is an option, though not one I would personally use for initial creation unless it was a derived role.

Knowing what data is in the spreadsheets will help ID what options there are.
