Hi,
I want to creat a new user in IDES 4.7 (instead of DDIC) able to create abap program. I user many roles and profile but still have the same error that I don t have authosization to create create/edite abap programs.
My question is: how abap profile should look like?
Thanks in advance,

in IDES only default user names will come u cannot hav authorization to change.becoz SAP provided IDES for utilising it for training purpose.so only the given default users exist.

Hi,
The IDES instance I ve it at home. I tried to create a new user count able to create abap program but I can not find the right roles/profiles to set to that new abap count. So please, can you list the roles/profiles required for this kind of user.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Since this is your system , you can give profiles SAP_NEW and SAP_ALL so that you have authorizations to do anything in the system.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Yes a genuine IDES system requires a Licence key.
You need to have a developer key to create programs. The developer key is stored in DEVACCESS table.

I tried to find one to use but all are assigned to a specific count that I can not use.
I create a new user, so how can I get a Licence Key for it? or using the existing ones?
Thanks in advance,
FF
