can you give us an idea of where and for what purpose you want a user exit. One may already exist that you're not aware of.

Hi Shills,

I have a small doubt here,When the code is a developed by us what is the necessity of developing our own user exit.

Could you please clarify me this?

HI Nagaraju,

To make changes in standard SAP Programs , when the present user exits do not solve our purpose , we might require to develop our own user exit thats what i thought . AS is faced an interview , in which he asked me that did i create my own user exit in any of the projects??

No you can not. User exits are embeded in to Standard SAP programs in such a way, that you don't have to touch the standard code. Implementing your own would force you to change standard SAP code, and if you are going to do that, you might as well just make your changes directly. Of course this is not the desirable way to go. But to summarize, you can not create your own custom user exits.
