Polling the server for free CPU cycles using ABAP is the challenge thatis put forth in front of me. Any suggestions?

are there any chunk of codes already existing. If no, can some one give me an idea how this can be achived?

Hi.

Do you really need to get the number of free CPU cyles? That's something that is highly platform dependent and I doubt that you can achieve it at all in ABAP. There are some function modules used in the backend of transactions like ST06 but they rely on the OSCOLL-job and I don't know if all the information is in there.

Can you perhaps specify your requirements a little bit more in detail? Maybe I have some further ideas in that case.
