copying data from basic list(output screen) to a pc file & then uploading

Hi Experts,

i have created one zemployee table having fields empid,empfname,emplname,empdesignation,empsalary.i have one selection screen having parameters empid & multiplied_by.i have to multiply the particular employee's salary with the number in the multiplied_by parameter & update the database table with the new salary.this much i have done correctly.my doubt is ,after this i have to upload empid, old_salary & new_salary to the application server.for using GUI_UPLOAD & OPEN DATASET statement first we have to copy these datas to a pc file,rt?how this can be done?

Hi,

Build an internal table(itab1) with empid, old_sal and new_sal.

You need to take the entry from the table with key empid and mutliple by the value given on selection screen. Append a record in the itab1. Then Modify the table with this record, if successfully then Open a file in the application server, wirite the data to that file and close the file. After this call the GUI_DOWNLOAD to put the same file on pc.
