Connectivity between different SAP Systems

Hi All

I need to connect two different SAP systems for some analysis. I have to compare entries in a table in 4.6 system and its counter part in ECC 6.0 system.

Kindly advice if anyone has worked on any similar requirement of connecting between different systems.
