Configurable materials

Hi All,

I am trying to extract information for a sales order where I can get all characteristics information for a configurable material of a particular sales order. The difficulty comes in when trying to link a sales order number with a configurable material and the characteristics values pertaining to the specific configuration items and their corresponding values.

So far I can get all characteristics details seperately from the sales order number and the relevant configurable material.

Is there a way to extract this information even via standard SAP objects?
