Hi friends,

Data element : EQUI-MATNR & EQUI-SERNR

My question is how to validate serial no?

Condition:

1. When user enter the material code and serial number, the serial number should be that material code serial number. if its wrong serial number. it should through the error message.

Guide me how to do this using events.

What is the purpose of this customer defined (I hope) table and its maintenance dialog?

  • Could you consider defining foreign key relations / creating a maintenance view to check your table with EQUI table (you should even get a free F4 search help if you do well)
  • Else, look at online documentation for available events to add some code
