Communication IDOC?

Hi

While using the transaction BD10 to send materials I am getting an message "0 Communication IDOCs created" and "1 master IDOC created".

I have also maintained the Distribution Modal view in the transaction BD64 .

I couldnt understand why Communication IDOC is not created?

check youy setting MESSAGE TYPE IN DMV and the partner profiles ?

check the partner profiles(we20),also BD64.i think there is some missing in sender or receiver information.

Are you using ALE- BAPI Interface if your using that interface.you have to keep in mind that there wont be any standard interface for BAPI to create communication IDoc.That interface should be written explicitly by us. So you can observe that communication IDoc is not created when you try to send some data. You can trail on this by creating a reciever of materials using BAPI and then sending the material through the push method (BD10). You'll find that 1 master IDoc is created but no communication IDocs are created.The interface consists of ABAP code which reads the recivers and filter data

from distribution model view and provides that in the control record of the IDoc.

So please check out the documentation on ALE- BAPI interface.

Hi,

Check whether you have gib\ven correct RECEIVER in BD64, an then in menu Envirnoment -> Generate partner profiles. Give your model view name and execute.

Also check to see if you have a filter set up on the distribution model.
