hello Colleagues

Could u please give the info about command file(cofiles). When SPAM is called which phase it get genarates? what kind of data it contains?

How DATA and COFILES data gets separated from PAT file at the time of SPAM application?

Hello Sharmily,

The control file(cofile) and data file are created during the disassemble phase. SPAM uses TP command to disassemble the .PAT file you have downloaded from SMP. This phase also fill up some system tables. So, the ,PAT file has included the cofile, datafile, and some system table entries, such as the dependency, description of the SP, etc.
