Code Transfer and Collection via RFC

Hi experts,

we have set up a new SAP System.

In this System we would like to import now a few codes from an other system.

Is there a possibility, to transfer coding e.g. via RFC?

And is there also a possibility, to collect objects?

Like by entering a z-report and the tool collects all z-data elements and tables used therein?

Kind regards

Hello Peter,

thank you for the answer.

But how to ensure, that the coding is fully ok and not dangour?

I mean, how do I know, that there is no coding included any type of Trojaner and so on???

Kind regards

Did you check the website and study the SAPLINK fubnctionality ?

You are copying the objects from an existing SAP system. If you do not trust this system OK, otherwise I don't see any problems.

It is widely used for this purpose.

Hello Peter,

yes I see.

However, is there any possibilty to download this Software also from SAP-Website (e.g. OSS) or SCN directly.

Because I would have a better Feeling by this type of download.

Kind regards

I Don't know of a download link on sdn, but there is a code exchange page on sdn:

https://code.sdn.sap.com/spaces/saplink/tickets

it was part of the Demo Jam at teched las vegas 2006:

http://scn.sap.com/people/ed.herrmann/blog/2006/09/14/saplink-demo-jam--teched-2006-vegas

http://scn.sap.com/people/ed.herrmann/blog/2007/05/08/earn-sdn-points-by-helping-with-saplink

But an official download from SAP or SDN, No I do not think it exists.
