Hi,
CMM Level 5 means CAPABILITY MATURITY MODEL LEVEL 5' which is related to the standards of the Internation Software standards institute.
It's like ISO.

cmm- capability maturity module ...
there are 5 levels ...1,2,3,4 and 5.
for each level there are some rules set.
if a company is cmm level 5 ..they have to satisfy all those.

CMM LEVEL 5 stands for the " Capability Maturity Model " and consists the different levels of measurment developed by the Software Engineering Institute
(SEI) in mid-1980. It is simply a scale of five process maturity level. And each level ranks the organization according to its standardization of processes in the subject area being assessed.
And where about the Approach of CMM Level 5 i.e.
Capability being defined
Measures worked at the same time the goal is developed
