Hi all,
Can anybody please tell me what is the use of cluster PCL4. According to my understanding if any changes happens to any infotype for ex infotype 2 or 9 it will store the change details like change date and personnel number etc. Also If we create a new employee and we create a infotype 9 entry for him, is that entry will be available in cluster PCL4.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
File PCL1 is the basis for the HR work area data. It contains information from the time data recording, for example, incentive wage time tickets or infotype supplement texts.
File PCL2 contains derived information, for example, payroll results. It also contains all generated payroll schemas.
File PCL3 contains applicant data.
File PCL4 contains the change documents for HR master data and recruitment.

PCL4 stores all changes related to HR infotypes. But, you have to mention which infotypes should be recorded and only those infotypes will be available in PCL4.
