client tickets

what is the methodology followed for the supprot project and what r the tools available and what is a client ticket and how to handle those client tickets?

hi Kiran,

In Support Related Projects mostly we will handle Sort Dumps or any performance related Issues ... So for each task there will be a ticket created for that and this ticket either you or your onsite cordinator can create that again depends as who is having the access creating the same. As per that ticket creation that particular task/ticket will be assigned to a person this can be either to a developer/ Functional Consultant. Once that is resolved it has to be closed by the respective person.

Sorrry I missed the tool which maintains/creates a tickets depends again from company to company/Project to Project our company uses a tool called <b>Remedy</b>.

I donot have any idea about other tools other than Remedy .... Sometimes it covers even Enhancement related tasks.
