Since your thread is bearly a reasonable question you will hardly get any answer.

Nevertheless I will give it a try.

Almost every project in SAP requires development and customizing. Some customers do their developments and customizing settings on the same client within the DEV system, others have separate clients in the DEV systems.

However, in order to reasonably test the development und customizing the transport requests from the DEV system (either single or two clients) have to "meet" in a single client on the QAS system.
