While importing an image into R/3 system, v need to specify class type as OT. What is it?

In Business Document Navigator (tr. OAOR) predefined next object types:

BO Business Object Repository object

CL Object from class library

OT Other objects

Application objects are identified by their class name and the corresponding class type.

All external objects (your images etc.) categorized as other objects OT. That's answer.
