Checkdigit?

Anybody familiar with this term? Can anyone explain? I believe it can be a digit at the end of the EAN. I know there is a function module in R3 to get it, but how about BW?

Hey Tom. I use the term "Check Digit" to describe the character at the beginning and the end of a barcode. In some cases these characters are visible in the barcode, for example the data in the barcode may start and end with an '*'. This is the check digit.
