Hi,

Search the forum before u post. There r many threads on the same topic.

Check table: Is used for validation purpose i.e Referential integrety. If an entry exist in check table then only child table should have entry.

Basically used with foreigh key relation.

Value table: Gives list of probable values. Basically for F4 help.

When u create foreigh key check table is assigned

When u give the domain for a field in a table value table is assigned.

U can specify the value table at Domain level.
