Characteristics Uploading

Dear All,

I have Lot of material list to upload Characteristics,

so some materials Characteristics are already available in the system. but I want to re upload (something amended)

my problems are,

Can we clear existing all Characteristics from system.

Can we upload with replaced existing Characteristics.

Transaction CLB2 is one option.

Using this transaction you can delete existing class assignments, update existing characteristics and create new class assignments. This is primarily used for initial data upload.

Transaction CLMM is the 2nd option.

Using this you can do mass changes to class assignments. I am not sure if you can create new class assignments using this transaction.

No Dear,

I have more than 1000 materials,

we are already assigned Class Type, Characteristics & Values

my problem is,

we want to amend all of these material characteristics,

currently we used LSMW (RCCLBI02) for upload characteristics, in this program we cant replace values.

please help me to solve this matter.

Hey,

I am sure you can use RCCLBI03 to meet your requirement. This report is available in LSMW and can be used to amend characteristic values. I have used this one in my current project for updating equipment classification.

Go through the program documentation for further explanation.
