Changing standard SAP code using the ABAP implicit enhamcement

Hi,

We need to use ABAP implicit enhancement option to fulfil the requirement we have regarding one standard SAP program as we couldnt find any userexits/BADIs to change the code.

How does the code changes for implicit option works with the upgrade or Support pack imports?

Is this the recommended option to change standard SAP programs?

Hi,

What is your requirement that your are thinking of changing the std code?

Check out for user exits/BADI's, enhancement points.

If nothing works, and if the biz process demands it, you may change std code, but remember that once Std program is opened SAP withdraws support for that object through [SAP Marketplace|http://service.sap.com].

Also during upgrade you would need to adopt the new program which comes with that version and then move the modified std program to the live system to keep it running.
