Hi all,
I have a requirement in which i have to change the labels of the input fields into the customer specified labels. He is providing some translated labels for that. I have to replace my existing labels which are in english to that specified by client. Can you please let me know how can i do that.
I have tried this in se63 translation-> r/3 enterprise-> short texts-> ABAP texts ->screen painter texts. There in object name i have given my module pool program name and then clicked on EDIT, but it is saying 'No suitable Object Found'.
Can anyone please tell me what is the problem here.....and how can i do this.....
Please giv me the solution soon..........................
Thanks and Regards,
Anil.

If you talk about ABAP program, you can perform the translation via se38, in the text element.
Hope this helps,
Erwan

Go to se38.
Chose the Text Elements radio-Button.
Press Change.
In the next screen, chose from menu: Goto->Translation.

HI,
This is the procedure to change teh label texts.
1. Go to the Screen(SE 51).
2. Go to translation Goto-->Translations and enter the target language.
3. Double click on "Screen Painter texts" here.
This will give you a list of all the texts that can have translations maintained for them. Here you can maintain the texts.
Thanks,
Rashmi.

Hi,
Thanks for u r reply, but my target language is not provided by SAP. The client only sends the desired text. What i have to do is just copy that and replace the existing with that.
In se51 we have to enter one target language. But i cant do that.
So, please let me know if there is any other way to do it.
I think we can do that in SE63. I have tried there but not get it.
Please let me know if there is any other way.
Plz try using se63 so that u can find any solution.
Thanks and Regards,
Anil Reddy.

Hi Anil,
If the language in which text is sent is not supported by SAP, I dont think it is possible to maintain it.
Even in SE63 both source and target languages cannot be left blank in any case.
Thanks,
Rashmi.
