Hi Friends

I created a request for creation of Package. and by mistake I created a Function Group in the same request. But the Application that uses this function group is in another request. Now I want to remove this object(fun.group) from one request and put it in another request. And I dont have authorization to delete any object in the request.

What should I do?

Regards,

Raju.

Hello Raju

You could try to rearrange the tasks or merge the requests. These functions can be found in SE09/SE10 in menu <b>Utilities -> Reorganize -> Reassign Task / Merge Requests</b>.

With Reassign Task you could move the task containing the function group to the other request. Alternatively, if it is reasonable to transport the objects of both requests together than you could merge the two requests.

Hi Raju,

You need to delete the object from the old request and lock it under the desired request manually.

I suggest you consult the basis guy if you do not have authorization.

Go to SE01, open the request under which your function group is locked. Open the task under which the function group appears. Click on change and delete the entry for the function group.

Now open the new request under which you want to place the request, click on the task that is under that request. Click on change and create the same entry that was under the original request and lock the object.

Revert back if you need clarification.

Pulkit
