change pointers

Hi,

I created a change pointers for HR master data... i am able to send the data to all infotypes when creating a employee except custom subtype of the infotype 0105 ( communication )

using Message type HRMD_A.

we are transfering the data to XI system.....we transfered data successfully by using PFAL...but when activated change pointer for HRMD_A and when we are creating employee all infotype data is getting captured except custom subtype of 0105 infotype...but when i cahnge the data then changes are getting captured for the same infotype and subtype

Please check if you have amended the distribution model for INFOTYPE 0105 and custom SType.

Hi Bharat,

1. In the distribution model just check whether IT 105 and customized sub types are there or not. If not add them.

2. Check whether the change documents are enabled for the subtypes. Create them in the below path.

SPRO-> Personnel Management-> Personnel Administration-> Tools-> Revision-> Set up change document

Created changes as per instruction the change document is not created for the subtype...pls suggest.

The subtype value is generated from a progrom...should i code when the table entry is created....

1) Did you check your distribution model? Pls do it as 1st step.

And then only go for Change Docs/Change pointers.

2) If Change Document table does not have entry for 0105 Infotype then you will require to add it.

Seems less possibilty to me.
