Hi All,
I have a requirement in HR....When some HR master data is changed and the database is updated, an outbound IDOC needs to be trigerred based on the Change Pointers technique.
There is a program RBDMIDOC that can be scheduled for the generation of IDOC based on the changes.
However, the requirement is that the IDOC generation has to be real-time....whenever there is change in master data and database is updated, the IDOC should be generated automatially without any scheduling mechanism.
Is that possible and if so, what is the approach?

I don't think this is possible for master data and change pointers. The program could be scheduled to run every 5 min., if necessary (even every 1 min. but Basis would probably kill you. ). From my experience, when users want something "immediately" and it actually happens every 10-15 min., they never notice.
