Hi,
Is it possible to create a Z message type for customer and activate the change pointer for the same?
Because I tried the same and executed RBDMIDOC (BD21) with zmessage type for customer...
It gives me an error message "Message type ZSDDEBMAS cannot be sent with change pointers"..
Pls suggest how to proceed in this...

It is possible .
You have activate change pointers for message types which you have created .
Transaction SALE .
Modelling and Implementing Business Processes->Master data distribution->Replication of modified data ->Activate change pointers for message types.

hi,
It is not a single step process.
you have to configure so many transactions.
for example BD61,BD50,BD52,BD21....
also if you are using custom message types u have to
configure them with outbound and inbound function modules.

I have done all these steps...After that only I am getting this message...It is for customer and I dont think there is any outbound function module for this.. If any let me know it and the process to do...
