Change Package name

Hi,

I've a Package which has several application and tables stored in it. But now there is requirement to rename the package name. I tried with SE80, but there is no option to rename a package.

Can anyone please tell how to rename a package.

u can copy it to a new one,but idon't think u can rename it..

Go to tr cd 'SE21'. It is the package builder of SAP. Here copy your package by giving a separate name.

Hi,

Renaming the package is not possible. Go to SE80. Click on Other Object icon.

In Development Coordination Tab enter your Package name and then click on Copy icon. This will ask u for Target name.

Thanks for ur responses,

I tried to copy a package to other using SE21 and also using SE80 as Uma suggested,

But after copying when i checked my new package, there were no entries in it.. I need to transfer the tables and applications from my earlier package to new one. is that possible.. if yes then please tell how to do it...
