Change documents for Variants!

A background job has been scheduled which has variants defined for each step. By mistake, I changed the variant value and dont recollect the old values assigned in the variant. Is there any way to track the changes in variants? Can I retrieve the old values(prior to change) for the variant?

If you have transported the variant, you should be able to get it back that way.

I am not aware of any other change docs.
