Change BOM Header

Hi ,

i am tring to change the exixting Material BOM using the function modules.

With the help of you all , i am able to change the BOM item details

Now, I would also like to change the header details of the BOM...

From the same help file:

Please note the following points when changing BOMs:

There is no function module for changing header data.

The same restrictions apply as for creating a BOM.

You can only process one alternative or variant. If you do not enter an alternative when you call function module CSAP_MAT_BOM_OPEN, the function module opens alternative "01".

Thats correct... we will not be able to change the header details using the following FM's , CSAP_MAT_BOM_OPEN

CSAP_BOM_ITEM_MAINTAIN

CSAP_MAT_BOM_CLOSE.

However i would like to change the header details of the BOM. How would I do that. Please suggest me any other way of changing the header details of BOM
