what is the purpose of cdm? please explain briefly.

go to transaction BD64 which is the distribution model its used to distribute ur message type to the receiver side.
here only u will specify who is sender , receiver , message type.
after creating a model u have to generate the partner profile(BD82) if the trfc connection is correct only u can distribute it.
For example ur sender id 4.6c & receiver is ECC5 means after creating the model in BD64 u have distribute it.
now when u goto SERVER ECC5 u can see the model which u created in 4.6C server.
Additionally here we can specify the filtering process for an particular message type.
