Caputuring TR for standard text changes.

Hello All,

I have a task, where I need to change one standard text and creating a new standard text which used in the smart forms.

What is proper way to capture the TR for both the cases?

Please help if you have done this in the past!

Hi,

You can use SE78 to transport a standard text. Open transaction SE78 in the leftside menu navigate to:

Form Graphics -> Stored as Text -> Standard Texts -> ST (double click ST)

Afterwards enter your standard text and push the transport button, you'll be asked a transport request to assign the text to. (do this for each language you need to transport)

Yes, you can use this way of working for both changed texts and new texts.

All these should be done in Dev system right?

And after doing these changes in SE78, did TR will be created?

Indeed, this has to be done in the DEV system to be able to transport the changes.
