Cannot Use Auto Completion in ABAP Editor

Hi,

I am using SAP GUI 6.4 Patch Level 23 and have activated the auto completion option in ABAP Editor. I have also tried to assign different key combinations to the auto completion (other than Ctrl + Space as the default setting), but I just could not use that function.

Apart from this, I have checked the [SAP note 1042863|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/10428639] but i think that is only relevant for GUI 7.10.

Please give me some hints on this issue.

Did you select Front-end editor(New). That's the only one that seems to propose completion for me.

Hi,

thanks for the quick reply. I have selected that. It was the first thing I did.

I would like to have a list of code completions to be shown when I start to type anything. So far I only can use the auto hint function.

Do I need 710 kernel for that?

Looking forward to any update on this.
