Cannot deactivate BADI

Hi All,

I am trying to deactivate BADI HRTNM_BOOKING but I am getting the message below:

You cannot change the activity status of this BAdI implementation HRTNM_BOOKING

Message no. ENHANCEMENT199

Diagnosis

There are Customizing entries associated with the activity control of this Business Add-In implementation. This means that you can only change the activity status of this implementation from the IMG.

System Response

You cannot activate or deactivate this Business Add-In implementation. here.

Procedure

Activate or deactivate the Business Add-In implementation from the IMG

Below is the path where I access the BADI. I am wondering if there is a separate IMG path to deactivate the BADI.

I'm not familiar with this particular issue but here's a couple things you might check:

1. Are you deactivating the BAdI in the same system/client in which you activated the BAdI?

2. Have you done a search on the SAP Support Portal for notes regarding this issue?

3. (Sorry if this is really obvious) have you read the documentation for the BAdI: Additional Checks for Booking IMG activity?

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm not sure if BADI was activated in the same client that I am using. Based on the documentation, 'The checks performed in the standard system can be switched off by the method Activate/Deactivate checks'. I just modified this BADI to resolve the issue.

Hi Steph,

The above mentioned BADI is related to TNM which covers French legal requirements .

You can deactivate the BADI under Payroll-France- Training Needs Management Badi implmentations- you will get activate and deactivate option.

Also pls check your system version, its possible in ECC 604.
