Hi,
Our system was recently upgraded to ERP2005 unicode. When I tried to create a transport for a Z object (not local object), the transport request target is defaulted to empty. Even when I tried to enter a target system, it says I cannot use that request, that I need to create a local request.
Why is this happening?
Thanks,
Koah Hwye

looks like basis issue and if system does not attach target system ,then you can not create transport request. Try to talk to basis guy.

Hi
Your problem is not very clear.Anyway upto my understanding i will give you a solution.Instead of creating like this Goto ->SE10 Goto Menu -> Request/Task-> Create Request..And give your short text. Then you can assign this request number for your Zobject..If you are unable to create here that means some authorization problem you should contact your Basis Person..
Hope This will helps you.

The transport layer for the package you are using has to be updated to the correct one.
Goto SE03 -> Change object directory entry -> enter package name and execute
Change the transport layer to the correct one and save.
Then try creating a TR.
