hi to experts,
in bdc if we want to update a single field , can we do it using bdc , for example if we want to update material grp make other fields as same( no change) is it possible in bdc , any example would help , i want to change for multiple values using recording

when you are recording,
even if you record the other fileds remove them when you generate program from SHDB.
only pass value to to the required filed in BDC.

yes...you can change one or more field using BDC..just take the recording of MM02 and write one BDC code..the BDC is much more dependent on the recording...

but if run for multiple values then fields will be having different values

hi you can update a single field using bdc.
as we know in bdc we need to fill all mandatrary fields.
so here you need to configure your tcode screen.and make only a single field as mandtory.then do recording

Yes, U can but u should pass the Mandatory fields while populating the single field.
