Can not delete/edit function group (RESTGUI)

Hi Experts,

I am facing a peculiar problem. I have created a function group and now want to delete that function group but when i m trying to delete system is showing "function group does not exists" but if i try to create by the same name its showing "already exists".

Please help me how can i delete/edit that function group.

Function group name: RESTGUI

I have create as per note # 1787341

After that i have updated SP level in the system.

It could be that you still have your function group in a transport (incl.delete command). You will need to relaese that transport.

i have already released all TP but no luck.

You say your function goup name is RESTGUI. Are you sure you did create this ? Normally a custom function group will start with Z or Y.

Could you call SE37 and execute a "repair" of function group (Menu : "Utilities", option "Repair Func. Group") ?

But why do you want to delete the FG of 1787341 - Personas: ABAP Interface Restgui ?

I have created function group as per note 1787341 - Personas: ABAP Interface Restgui ? but not applied not. After that i have updated SP level to 12. Now when i am trying to implement that note system is showing "Not all required corrections were implemented" and not able to implement that note.

i have tried repair option its showing "Function group RESTGUI does not exist"

Can you check

• What is the status of the note implementation (SNOTE) were you succesful to upload last version of note
• Do the note and/or the function group appear in modification adjustment workbench (SPAU) and with which status

Also before upgrade/SP installation, always check the notes status, it is easier to remove some wrong/incomplete implementation before running upgrade.
