Call Function 'UPD' in update task in dialog module

Hi

I need to call FM in update task in a module pool program.

When i debugged i came to know for dialog module the SY-ONCOM is set to 'N' and for normal report SY-ONCOM ='S'. So i m not able to run the FM during commit work in dialog module(It is working for Report program). How can i use FM in update task in a dialog program?
