call function RV_FTT_GOV_ISSUE_LOG_SEL_REP:PERFORMANCE ISSUE

Hello everybody,

One of the report uses this function module and its very slow due to poor performance.

When i did the run time analysis i could see that at this function module its consuming more time.

Please suggest how to optimize it and improve its performance.

Hi,

Regarding the performance issue which you are facing in the Function Module : RV_FTT_GOV_ISSUE_LOG_SEL_REP what you need to do is follow the following steps :

1. First Put an SQL Trace on the transaction code and check whether which particular query is taking time and whether it is the query inside the function module.

2. Also do the Run time Analysis for the transaction code and if possible do the ST12 analysis that will help you to do the analysis for both SQL and Runtime Analysis.

3. After analysing these things you need to write to SAP regarding that by creating an OSS Message and for this function module performance with your analysis.

4. SAP Support will reply you if they have faced the similar issue with some other client and otherwise they will provide you solution how you can solve the performance problem.
