BOM Header update

Hi,

I need to update 'ALE indicator' (STKO-ALEKZ) in BOM header data (Tcode CS02). This field doesn't seem to be managed in standard BTCI program RCSBI020. I havent found any Bapi/FM allowing to update it, also, a classic BTCI (SHDB) is not possible, the field is always inactive in CS02. Any suggestions ?

Hi,

This indicator is updated when you use ALE to update / create BOM. I'm just wondering why would you want to do that?

Hi Sujay,

Yes i know, we need to update it in the the target system to synchronize BOMs between the two systyems. What do you suggest ?

Lets say we have two systems SYST1 and SYST2. BOM1 in SYST1 is modified, then an Idoc is sent to SYST2 to reproduce that modification on that same BOM1. If the ALE Indicator is set to 'X' in SYST2, BOM1 will be updated in SYST2, if not no changes will be done on it. The requirment is to set that flg to 'X' for some of the BOMs in SYST2 (from a CVS file) to sync SYST1 & SYST2. I hope that i gave enough detail.
