Block basic data text maintenance in MM02

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to block-off the basic data text maintenance during MM02 ? The objective is to prevent the user from changing the existing basic data text while updating the material master.

Hi ,

i think u can use the enhancement MGA00001 and give errror message whenever the user changes the text field , u can do it through SPRO message settings also.

Check the transaction OMT3B, OMT3E..

Basically you can control the screen sequence..
