In my program, I'm getting the message like this:
msgtype 'S'.
msgnr '344'.
What is the meaning of this? How can I find the description of the messages?

Hi Deva...
Check the structure of the BDCMSGCOL... it contains a field named MSGID. Open SE91 and enter the value for message class as MSGID. Now open the message class and view the message bearing the number in your bdcmsgcol table.
