Hi all,

In Call Transaction BDC method, if the field value of 'BDCMSGCOLL-MSGTYP' = 'S', what does it mean.

S means that the type of message is a System message.

In my program, I'm getting the message like this:

msgtype 'S'.

msgnr '344'.

What is the meaning of this? How can I find the description of the messages?

Hi Deva...

Check the structure of the BDCMSGCOL... it contains a field named <b>MSGID</b>. Open SE91 and enter the value for message class as <b>MSGID</b>. Now open the message class and view the message bearing the number in your bdcmsgcol table.

i did check for the message class 'MSGID'. but it says the message class is not available.

is there any other way to find that?

Go to SE11 and see table "<b>T100</b>"

<b>SPRSL = EN

ARBGB = S

MSGNR = 344</b>
