hi gurus..

in bdc , in flat file i've a field called city.but under this i specified the values like ram,sam insted of hyd bang.can create a customer in bdc.pls give me ans..if use full full points to all

Yes, it will create but no meaning rgarding to that field.

hi

in the city field on the screen, if we have a check whether the city entered in the right one or not, then it prompts an error.

if the screen element doesnt have any check and takes anything we give, then the BDC processes without any error.;

Hi,

Yes it will create customer if no validation is there. You can test it by doing recording. Provide some dummy data while creating recording.
