BDC upload from Shared folder(Application Server)

Guru's ,

I have a requirement in which I have to upload data using BDC. The user says he will put the the file in a shared folder(in application server).

I have to specify the file path in selection screen. I dont know how to specify the path for a file in shared folder.

Also Can I see the shared folder files in AL11?

Please help me.

yes .. you can see them in AL11 ... in selection screen do you need to use an input help? if not .. you can see pattern of as folder also in AL11 too

The BASIS team should create a .BAT file for this purpose so that files will be moved from shared to application server and vice-versa.
