BDC Table control!!

For VA02 transaction, we are using BDC table control.

If we make a new entry in the table, it gets added at the end and then we sort it according to a key.

We are also getting the number of rows/entries currently displayed on screen in a variable.

Our requirement is to get the exact page(of the table control) on which the new entry gets added and we need to bring the cursor to that row so that we can select that entry and do further processing.

Please provide some help in this matter.

Hi,

I would suggest using the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE instead of BDC..

if you selected BDC then follow this.

when you record VA02 transaction, click the button for CREATE ITEM (the one with PLUS icon, below the table control). Then that action will be tracked in the recording and the cursor will come to the appropriate row. You can just enter values there...you dont need to get the number of existing line items, since only the row after the last line item will be now input enabled.
